I have been a
horror fan practically all my life. Horror
excites me. It has always captivated me in so
many ways. The monsters, the stories, and
especially the gore! The gorier the movie was,
the more I loved it. Horror has been a passion of
mine ever since I was a little girl. This section
is my tribute to the horror genre. There have
been a few movies I have seen over the years (and
I have seen a LOT!!) that have scared me enough
to leave a lasting impression on me.
"Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things" was my
first exposure to zombies. I was 8 when I first
saw the movie. Watching the zombies eat the
intestines of a victim, then dip their hand into
the torso to drink the blood, was the most
disturbing and horrific image I had ever seen. I
actually had my mom turn it off because it was
too frightening for me. I still have "zombie
nightmares"
from time to time.
Halloween was another.
John
Carpenter's "less is more" scare tactics were
genius. Catching a glimpse of "the Shape" in the
background was enough to give me the
chills. What scared me the most about Halloween
was the way Michael Myers killed his victims. He
hardly used any bodily gestures, except for the
little tilt of his head when he would look at
them before he slaughtered them. The fact that no
matter how many times you shot him, ran him over
with a car, and blew him up, he just wouldn't
die! Here's a bit of trivia for you. Did you know
that the mask "The Shape" wore was the William
Shatner mask? Who knew that Captain Kirk could be
so frightening?
Hellraiser
didn't scare me, but that movie did make a
lasting impression on me. Pinhead and his band of
Cenobites intrigued me in so many different ways.
Gruesome, yet pleasing to the eye. Powerful, yet
vulnerable. I have been fascinated with them for
years! Go to the Gash page to see more on
Hellraiser.
I have been disappointed with all the "big
budget, slasher, boob" films that have been
released the past few years. Scream was ok. I
Know What You Did Last Summer blew. The sequels
were a big disappointment as well. Why does
Hollywood keep insisting on making sequels to
'ok' movies? I can't wait for Scream3, Friday X
(yes, that is Friday the 13th part 10), Candyman
3, and the next installment of the ever popular
Leprechaun series..are you ready for this?
Leprechaun 5: Leprechaun in the Hood. I have an
idea! Try making a
new movie with an original concept!!
There hasn't been alot of movies released the
past few years that really stand out. Until now..
The Blair Witch Project is released. In my
opinion, it is one of the scariest, most original
movies that has come out in a while! You know, it
cost Haxan films $25k to make Blair Witch. I
think it's great that it turned out to be one of
the most profitable movies of all time!! So far
it has made over $100 million. Goes to show, you
dont need to spend $100 to make a really great
film. Hail Haxan Entertainment! There are a
few people who thought the movie was lame and
poorly made. I made a section on this page for
those of you who don't understand what all the
hoopla is about.
If you have not seen the movie yet, do not
continue!!

Gore-Met Zombie Chef From Hell
The worst movie of all time award goes to
"Wizards of the Lost Kingdom". What the fuck
were these people thinking when they made this
movie? It was about this guy, who looked like he
was in his teens, who had magical powers and
could sword-fight really good. Good my ass!! The
fight scenes were pathetic. They used the same
scene a few times to either fill space..or keep within the $200 budget. Then....get ready
for this one..there was the Chewbacca-white
poodle-man-beast tag along that would sometimes
babble a word or two. If it had a somewhat decent
story, it might have been amusing to watch. This
was just uncalled for!! I thought the Gore-Met
chef was awful..Wizards of the Lost Kingdom is the all time BOOOO movie! Icky!!
I will be updating the lists from time to time. I hope that I will be adding to the 'Best'
list rather than the 'Worst'.
I now have a separate page for my
horror reviews. This page was getting too big!!
HORROR NEWS
Sleepy Hollow met every one of my expectaions.
Christoher Walken and Ray Park made a kick ass
Headless Horseman!! I will write a review for
this movie, plus, The House on Haunted Hill, The
Sixth Sense, and a few viddy releases soon. I am
waiting for my Christmas present so I can re-vamp

I am now in the process of gathering images for this page. I know there is just way too much text and no eye candy..So, I will be adding images withing the next couple weeks..The Blair Witch page needs more images..which I will add. Also, the review page will be updated within the next few days and images will be added there too. Sorry for the stagnant page..I am working on improving it now. yay.
